Director, Editor

  • Founded in 2010. Spearhead and produce commercials, corporate, documentary, and narrative content from conception to deliverables.

  • Engage and collaborate with clients to discuss budget, tone, audience demographics, emotional impact, and content distribution using visual aids, references, and past examples in order to synchronize with their teams and understand the vision for their brands.

  • Line scripts to develop into shotlists, draw storyboards, and assemble those into video storyboards to prototype final deliverables before principal photography.

  • Edit sizzle reels and mood boards from existing media to help clients understand tone and pacing for their projects.

  • Negotiate with location owners, post notices, audition, and cast talent, while finding, interviewing, vetting, and hiring crew from referrals and entertainment job sites.

  • Helm various positions from producer and director to cinematographer and editor. 

  • Document, file, and archive production paperwork including talent releases, crew contracts, location permits, and creative assets release forms.

2011 - 2022 MAESTRO FILMWORKS LLC PHILADELPHIA, PA

Director, Camera Operator

  • Worked as a contractor with producers from pre-production, principal photography, and post-production.

  • Translated client briefs through Microsoft Word into prose treatments, created timecoded action-voiceover tables, and transcribed them with Final Draft software into shooting scripts.

  • Location scouted with producers, developed overhead diagrams with cinematographers, oversaw editing on Premiere Pro, color g rading sessions on Final Cut X, and CGI effects with FX supervisors using Adobe After Effects.

  • Heavily involved in story development and directed both traditionally-structured standard content and experimental, avante-garde style productions.

  • Fostered and mediated creative discussions on set and bridged relationships between artists with different working philosophies.

Event Videographer

  • Founded in 2003. Develop specific packages and contracts for weddings of different international cultures and faiths and for general events from sports to life activities.

  • Shoot and edit short and longform wedding highlight videos, and provided optional raw footage to clients either through supplied harddrives or online servers.

  • Hire 2nd and 3rd shooters, camera assistants, and production assistants based on trusted referrals.

  • Shot for other companies such as Florescio Films, Iluminada Photography, Red Lantern Films, and Lightyear Studios.
